Verizon Introduces “Share Everything” Plans, But They’ll Cost You a Pretty Penny

Verizon Wireless has rolled out their new “Share Everything” plans that include unlimited talk, unlimited text messaging and sharable data on up to 10 mobile devices. The ten devices can be smartphones, feature phones, tablets or even jetpack mobile hotspot sticks. The plans also allow you to setup one of your devices as a mobile hotspot itself, sharing your data plan with other Wi-Fi-enabled devices. But before you get too excited, keep in mind that these plans will run you a hefty monthly bill. Find out how empty your wallet will be just ahead.

The “Share Everything” plans are priced between $50 and $100 per month, depending on the amount of data you choose, while each mobile device you add to the plan costs an additional fee per month. Each month, you’ll have to tack on $40 for each smartphone, $30 for each basic feature phone, $20 for each Verizon Jetpack or mobile hotspot and $10 for each iPad or other tablet. While Verizon says “it’s the plan that revolves around you,” these plans really only cater to families that use a high number of mobile devices; even in that situation, these plans will still cost you a pretty penny.
