Despite releasing the iPhone 4 with Retina display nearly two years ago, Apple had — up until this point — neglected to update the boot spinning logo that you see when you power off your iOS device with a high resolution version.
Fortunately, The Next Web has discovered that Apple has subtly updated the boot spinning logo in iOS 6 to be optimized for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad’s crystal clear Retina display.
If you are thinking that this is such a minor detail, you’re absolutely right; however, Apple is a company that often pays very close attention to these details as they try to perfect their mobile operating system. It’s nice to see the change.
