MacRumors has uncovered what is believed to be a front panel for the next-generation iPod touch. Interestingly, the supplier that has shared the image says that the new iPod touch will indeed be taller and that the screen currently measures 4.1 inches diagonally.
A countless number of rumors have surfaced about Apple working on an iPhone with a larger display, but the exact dimensions have yet to be confirmed. Regardless of what display size is inevitably used in the new iPhone, the same dimensions are virtually guaranteed to be adopted by the fifth-generation iPod touch.
Earlier today, 9to5Mac reported that the next-generation iPhone would have a 3.95-inch display — that’s a rounded figure — while we’ve heard three seperate rumors from iLounge, the Wall Street Journal, and Reuters about Apple working on an iPhone with at least a 4-inch screen.
