Dropbox Syncing is Now Acceptable on App Store

Last week, Apple began rejecting apps that made use of Dropbox’s synchronizing feature due to several apps linking to the cloud service’s extra storage tiers through their website. Apple does not allow for apps to sell goods or services that are not available as in-app purchases, since it bypasses the 30 percent stake that Apple collects from every App Store sale.

But now, as reported by MacRumors, it has been unofficially confirmed that Dropbox’s new SDK satisfies the App Store approval guidelines, which is great news for developers that make use of the service in their apps.
