HP’s New Spectre XT Looks Eerily Similar to the MacBook Air, But Denies Copying Apple

Hewlett-Packard has released a wide range of new notebooks recently, including the Spectre XT Ultrabook. Perhaps they should have just called it the MacBook Air, however, because it almost blatantly copies the design of Apple’s ultra-thin notebook. Yet, HP’s Vice President of Industrial Design Stacy Wolff insists that his company did not copy Apple.

“I think if you look at the new Spectre XT, there are similarities in a way, not due to Apple but due to the way technologies developed. Apple may like to think that they own silver, but they don’t. In no way did HP try to mimic Apple. In life there are a lot of similarities.”

Yeah, okay Stacy. Whatever you say.
