Jailbreakers to Unite at WWJC 2012 in 13,500 Square Feet of Awesomeness

If you didn’t already know, a number of prominent members in the jailbreaking community will be attending JailbreakCon, the first jailbreak convention in the United States, in September. We’re talking Cydia creator Jay Freeman (saurik), jailbreak developer Ryan Petrich, Chronic Dev Team members Joshua Hill (p0sixninja) and iOPK, sn0wbreeze creator iH8sn0w, and several other jailbreakers.

The convention, which took place in London last year under the name MyGreatFest, has been renamed as the Worldwide Jailbreak Convention (WWJC) and is scheduled to take place in San Francisco on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific. Tickets are available for an early bird special of $65, with VIP access available for an early bird special of $155.

JailbreakCon is the community driven event that the iDevice loving world has been talking about for the last twelve months. We are ecstatic to bring the event to American soil, and looking forward to welcoming all of our guests to this historical happening.

This is going to be an incredibly awesome event for the jailbreaking community, with all kinds of different jailbreak tweaks, mods, utilities, and you name it set to be showcased for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. To get an idea of just how big the venue is for this jailbreak convention, take a look at this video of the 13,500 square foot San Francisco Convention Center, recorded by the JailbreakCon team themselves.

Do you plan on attending the Worldwide Jailbreak Convention (WWJC) in September?
