Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 Gets Full Lion Support

Back in July of 2011 when OS X Lion was first released, Microsoft promised that they would eventually release an update for their powerful Office for Mac 2011 suite. After nine months, people began to lose hope of this, but Microsoft has shown today that their word is to be honored, releasing Office for Mac 2011 version 14.2 (service pack 2) on April 12th.

The update includes over 100 bug fixes, full support for Lion with near-complete fullscreen support (Outlook doesn’t have any sort of fullscreen option at all, strangely), and much improved IMAP account synchronization in Outlook. Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 SP2 is available in the suite’s update tool or for download manually here. It’s 110 MB in size.
