Apple Updates Camera RAW with Canon 5D MkIII Support

Apple today released a small update for their digital camera RAW compatibility in OS X bringing it to version 3.1.2 and adding support for Canon’s new 5D Mark III. This update weighs in at 8 MB and is available either in your Mac’s Software Update utility or Apple’s support page, so if you have this fancy new camera then go grab it now!

OS X’s digital camera RAW compatibility was last updated on March 22nd with support for the Nikon D800. Before that, version 3.10 was released on March 14th with support for the Canon PowerShot G1 X, Nikon D4, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX1, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ35, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ38, Samsung NX200, Sony Alpha NEX-7, and Sony NEX-VG20.
