Rogers Launches its LTE Network in Calgary, Halifax

Canadian mobile carrier Rogers has announced that they have expanded their speedy LTE network to Calgary, Alberta and Halifax, Nova Scotia. The network went live today in both cities, expanding Rogers’ LTE coverage to nearly 12 million people, or about one-third of Canada’s population.

Rogers also confirmed that they will be bringing their LTE network to Edmonton, Alberta in the upcoming months as part of their plan to expand their “4G” coverage to nearly 60 percent of Canada’s population by the end of the year. So if you are Canadian like me and have the new iPad, you’ll soon be able to browse the web in high speed greatness.
