Last month, Apple reported record-breaking results for the second quarter of the fiscal year (which ended March 27th). “We’re thrilled to report our best non-holiday quarter ever, with revenues up 49 percent and profits up 90 percent,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We’ve launched our revolutionary new iPad and users are loving it, and we have several more extraordinary products in the pipeline for this year.” Interesting. Despite the release of the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad within the last three years, it looks as if we’re in for more. So what’s in the so-called “pipeline” that Steve Jobs mentions? Will we see an entirely new device within 2010? I’d love to know.
