Apple Now Offering $15 Settlement to iPhone 4 Users Following Class Action Lawsuit

Last month, a settlement was reached in a class action lawsuit against Apple related to the iPhone 4′s antenna reception issues. The lawsuit stemmed from the “antennagate” controversy a few years ago, which relates to how the iPhone 4 loses signal and can drop calls when held a particular way. Apple agreed to offer a free bumper case or $15 cash settlement to the affected users, and the official website for making these claims has just gone live.

To be eligible for a cash payment, you must be the original owner of an iPhone 4, live in the United States, have experienced antenna or reception issues, have performed basic troubleshooting steps, are unwilling to use the free bumper case offered by Apple, and have been unable to return your iPhone 4 without incurring any costs. All claims must be submitted by August 28, 2012.
