Report: Intel Ivy Bridge Processors Launch April 29, Could Signal MacBook Pro Refresh

Intel is expected to launch their new lineup of Ivy Bridge processors in the last week of April, says CPU World. The report states that Intel will preview their new Ivy Bridge lineup sometime between April 22nd and April 28th, while the processors will go on sale April 29th. These claims come just weeks after it was suggested that Apple will introduce radically changed MacBook Pros — which will be faster, thinner, and lighter — in the near future. If the launch of Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processors is any indicator of an upcoming MacBook Pro refresh, then new Macs could be coming our way in May, or perhaps in June at WWDC 2012.
