Sparrow for iPhone Released

The team behind Sparrow for OS X have released a mobile version of the extremely popular mail client, which integrates many Gmail-centric features such as labels, Priority Inbox, and more. The client supports Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, AOL, and other IMAP accounts, making it the go-to app for users fed up with’s limited feature set. Like Apple’s native solution, the app uses a unified inbox to aggregate all your accounts into one streamlined view, so you won’t need to bounce around multiple inboxes to find new messages…

Sparrow for iOS does lack push support, which is a major limitation for a mail client, but the developers are working on a solution. If you need to be notified of new messages as soon as possible, it’s probably a good idea to stick with until an update is released. The app is available now in the App Store for $2.99.
