Apple Releases New iPad with Retina Display

Apple chief executive Tim Cook, at a media event today at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, has announced the launch of the new iPad with the suspected Retina Display, touting a quite incredible resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The new iPad Retina Display has 31 million pixels, which is 1 million more pixels than an HDTV, according to Apple marketing executive Phil Schiller. Additionally, that’s a remarkable 264 pixels per inch.
