iPad 3 Leaked Parts Assembled and Compared to iPad 2

M.I.C. Gadget, a Chinese technology blog, has managed to gather most of the leaked iPad 3 parts and assemble them into a partly-completed model of the next-generation Apple tablet. They hope to provide an idea of what the iPad 3 will look like and also shed some light on the rumored difference in size. In a video from M.I.C. Gadget, the blog shows that users may still be able to use the iPad 2 Smart Covers with the new tablet and also gives glimpse at what it will look like inside one of the proportioned iPad 3 cases. In addition, they added a claim at the end of the video saying that the iPad 3 will include Siri capability, which hasn’t been rumored for quite a while. Check after the break for more information and the aforementioned video.

This same source previously published a report that the iPad 3 would be slightly thicker and have a more tapered edge than the current iPad 2. This report definitely makes sense because the new device is claimed to have a Retina display and a quad-core processor, which means that Apple may need to increase the battery size somewhat in order to keep the same 10-hour average rundown time.
