Ars Technica has found evidence of an iPad running iOS 6 on their server logs. We know that the next generation iPad will be announced on March 7th, but Apple has done a commendable job keeping the exact feature list under wraps. Leaked components hint at a 2048 by 1536 resolution screen, and Ars Technica’s findings support the rumors (although, they do note that there are other displays that match that resolution).
iOS 6 is not expected to be released until the iPhone 5 makes its debut, but Ars’ logs show that the upcoming operating system is already being tested running on an iPad. It’s unknown what new features will be introduced, but we’re looking forward to polished multitasking gestures, predictive typing, and more.
