Mark Gurman from 9to5Mac has cited reliable sources calling for a new Apple TV to be released in March alongside the next-generation iPad. Past rumors suggest that the set-top TV box will have Bluetooth 4.0 capability and a faster processor, which would likely be required in order for the media console to play 1080p video that Apple is allegedly preparing to add to the iTunes Store later this year.
This faster processor could possibly be the new A5X processor, which boasts a faster graphics engine, that Apple is rumored to be working on. Apple is also expected to launch as many as three different iPad 3 models, which are expected to be quad-core and, according to the Wall Street Journal, will have LTE compatibility. It sounds like there is a lot in store for early March. Is everyone excited yet?
