Photoshop Touch for the iPad 2 Hits the App Store

Adobe has released Photoshop Touch, first made available on the Android Market late last year, for the iPad 2. The application features—you guessed it—full multitouch support, and includes many of the primary tools found on the desktop version. There is a maximum canvas size of 1600 by 1600 pixels, so you won’t be recreating the Sistine Chapel, but for quick edits and on-the-go doodles, the app will be perfect.

Images can be pulled directly from the Camera Roll, or imported from online sources. A set of filters and effects are preloaded for instantly Instagraming your photos, but the full layer support and Scribble Selection tool will allow you to transpose your victim onto any background of your choosing.

Photoshop Touch is currently only live on the New Zealand App Store for NZ$13.99, but expect it to hit the U.S. shortly for $9.99.
