Eddy Cue Accepts Grammy Award on Behalf of Steve Jobs

Last night, at the 2012 Grammy Awards, Apple executive Eddy Cue took the stage to accept the prestigious music award on behalf of Steve Jobs and his family. Jobs was selected to receive the award because of his significant contributions to the music industry in a nonperforming manner. Here’s an excerpt from the speech made by Cue:

“Steve was focused on bringing music to everyone in innovative ways. We talked about it every single day. When he introduced the iPod in 2001, people asked “Why is Apple making a music player?” His answer was simple: ‘We love music, and it’s always good to do something you love.‘”
