Watch Apple’s Inspiring Video About Education

Apple has posted their iBooks Textbooks video from their education event in New York City today, where the Cupertino-based company unveiled its iTunes U app for iOS, iBooks 2, a textbook section in the iBookstore, and iBooks for Authors on Mac. The video is just over seven minutes in length, but is definitely worth watching because of all the influential and inspiring comments made by teachers, textbook publishers, and Apple executive Eddy Cue.

It’s a truly awe-inspiring video, highlighting the fact that interactive textbooks and educational tools on the iPad will phenomenally change the landscape of education, stimulate students to get engaged and learn, and make studying easier and more enjoyable. Plus, I will take one lightweight iPad over a bunch of heavy, clunky textbooks.
