Ice Cream Sandwich Support Coming to Swype

The developers behind Swype have Tweeted that support for Android 4.0, a.k.a Ice Cream Sandwich, will be coming in a end-of-month beta update. Only a small percentage of Android devices currently run the latest version of the operating system, but with the Galaxy Nexus possibly coming to Sprint and 3rd party ICS ROMs like CyanogenMod 9 being released, more users will be upgrading. Swype is one of the most unique keyboards available, and offers the ability to “swipe” from letter to letter to form words instead of tapping on keys individually. The app is not available in the Android Market, but users can sign up for the beta on their site.
