With the recent outbursts of Google vs Apple all-out warfare, I never thought this would ever happen: Apple have accepted an application to the app store which has the SOLE PURPOSE of pushing notifications to your device about any Gmail emails you get. Amazing.
GPush has been waiting for approval for a while now – But it’s only just got accepted. However, don’t get excited yet.. The developers had an issue with the Amazon servers they use to run their system, so they temporarily took the app down, but the team expects things to be back to normal and the app to be in the store in the next 24 hours.
It will $0.99 for a week only, and then it goes up to $1.99. I’ll update this post with the link to downloading as soon as it’s on the App Store!
