‘Steve Jobs’ Among Google’s Top Searches in 2011

A few weeks ago, Yahoo reported that ‘iPhone’ was their number one searched term in 2011. In similar fashion, Google has revealed their Apple-dominated top search queries for this past year.

While the infamous singer Rebecca Black may have stolen Google’s top spot for fastest-rising searches in 2011, the terms ‘iPhone 5′ and ‘iPad 2′ still managed to place in sixth and tenth place respectively.

The term ‘Steve Jobs’ also held the ninth spot on the same top ten list. After dealing with pancreatic cancer for several years, Steve Jobs passed away tragically on Oct 5, 2011; the news of his death, although somewhat expected, was trembling for the Apple community and the entire world.
