Apple Hires Concept Artist Jan-Michael Cart as an Intern

Anyone that owns an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad will be delighted to hear that Apple has hired concept artist Jan-Michael Cart as an intern. According to iPhone in Canada, the intern position is based in Cupertino for a period of seven months. Cart, a Mass Media Arts major at the University of Georgia, is best known for his several iOS concept videos that he has uploaded to YouTube, which have attracted several millions of views.

Cart’s videos demonstrate different interesting iOS features that he envisions. Hopefully, some of his concept designs will become a reality in his newfound position. Apple also recently hired iOS hacker comex and jailbreak tweak developer Peter Hajas, perhaps a sign that they are looking to change the rather stagnant look of iOS. Check out some of Cart’s awesome concept videos after the break.

And like that, my time has come — I am now a member of the Apple community. I will still update my website with random small portfolio additions. I will also open up the blog portion of my website to document my day-to-day happenings in Cupertino. Stay tuned!
