Google Maps for Android Updated to Version 6.0

Google has released a major update to Maps for Android, bringing indoor maps of select locations to your smartphone. If you’re hanging out at a Cinnabon in the mall, the new Maps app will be able to determine what floor you’re on to give you a detailed blueprint of the building and its stores, complete with a blue dot tracking your current location down to the meter (like an IRL minimap!)

The user interface has also been improved for quickly toggling features, and a new Places homescreen has been added for finding good eats nearby. The update can be downloaded from the Android Market.
