Google Voice for Android Updated with Mass Texting and Voicemail Prefetch

Google’s native Voice client for Android has been updated with a powerful new mass texting feature that makes it an even more viable replacement for old school SMS. If you’re on Sprint, we highly recommend integrating Voice into your account, so you can stop worrying about those pesky SMS fees. Plus, you can answer calls through Gmail and send and receive messages through the Voice website, so you’ll be able to keep in contact with your friends from the comfort of your computer. The app is now able prefetch voicemails to reduce the wait time when listening to missed calls, and the notification system has been improved.
