Android 4.0 Source Released

Google has released the source code for Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of Android. The source includes the “full history of the Android source code tree“, so we’ll also get a taste of Honeycomb (which was never made public). The repository can be cloned from git using the instructions below, but keep in mind that the release is specifically designed for the Galaxy Nexus. Build configurations for non-Nexus devices will be available soon, and it’s very likely that custom 4.0 ROMs will pop up over at XDA.
