Apple Seeds iTunes 10.5.1 Beta 3 to Developers

The third beta of iTunes 10.5.1 has been posted for download on Apple’s iOS Developer Center portal. This latest beta, available in OS X and Windows flavors, includes a number of important stability and performance improvements for iTunes Match. iTunes Match stores your music library in iCloud, which can be accessed from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, computer or Apple TV.

The subscription-based iTunes Match service was supposed to launch in late October, which passed without any word from Apple, but the increased number of iTunes betas indicates that the service could be released imminently. While in beta, iTunes Match is available to developers in the United States only.
