A few hours ago, one of our iCloud email accounts that was configured in a Mac email client decided that it didn’t want to connect to the server. We assumed that it was just a temporary downtime for maintenance and resumed our daily activities. However, it now seems that readers of news sites 9to5Mac, The Next Web and iFans are having similar issues with Apple’s cloud storage system and email service. While no one currently knows the cause of the problem, Apple has updated their iCloud system status page with new information regarding the problem (shown above). A fix is in the works and all we can currently do is wait.
