Consumer Reports Recommends the iPhone 4S

Unlike its predecessor, the iPhone 4S has made the Consumer Reports recommended list of smartphones. The monthly consumer ratings magazine conducted special reception tests on the iPhone 4S and reached the conclusion that the handset does not suffer from the same reception problems that hinder the iPhone 4.

The magazine added that the iPhone 4S has superior battery life while also touching on its improved camera, dual-core processor, and Siri voice recognition assistant. These new features were not enough for the iPhone 4S to outscore its best Android-based competition, however, as the Samsung Galaxy S II, Motorola Droid Bionic, LG Thrill, and many other powerful smartphones outpaced the new Apple handset.
