Apple’s Corporate Executives Receive $60 Million Bonuses

Perhaps it wasn’t the best time for former security chief John Theriault to leave Apple. If the other eight corporate executives that work for Apple remain with the company through 2016, they’ll each receive bonuses of 150,000 shares of stock.

With Apple’s stock currently trading at roughly $400 per share, that’s a whopping $60 million bonus that each of these Apple vice presidents will receive in the next five years. Don’t worry about Tim Cook, by the way, for he has a swell bonus package in place as well.

“Our executive team is incredibly talented and they’re all dedicated to Apple’s continued success,” Apple said. “These stock grants are meant to reward them down the road for their hard work in helping to keep Apple the most innovative company in the world.”
