Sales of Steve Jobs’ Iconic Glasses Soar Following His Death

While an outfit consisting of a black turtleneck tucked into blue jeans was certainly iconic for Steve Jobs, he also wore a defining pair of glasses called the Classic Rund PP by German company Lunor. Following the death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs on October 5th, 2011, these pair of glasses have experienced a significant surge in sales.

The glasses, which currently retail for about $450, have sold “in the hundreds” since the passing of Jobs. Power Bloom, the Asian distributor of the glasses, noted that the Classic Rund PP glasses fit into Steve Jobs’ perfectionism and served as a tribute to the great visionary.
