Xbox XNA games may be coming to the App Store

While Microsoft is still working to get its Windows Phone 7 effort off the ground, some of its partners are already looking ahead. PC World reports that Novell, which has long supported the open source .NET runtime called Mono and more recently launched a toolkit called MonoTouch allowing development for iPhone OS in .NET, is making plans to support the XNA library on the Apple platform. This could mean that Xbox Arcade games could find their way to the iPhone before the competing Windows phone even comes to market.
