Sears Deploying iOS Devices For Improved Customer Service

The large North American department store chain Sears is deploying a fleet of iPad and iPod touch units to be used by its staff in 450 different retail stores. The iOS devices will be used to improve the service that store employees provide to customers throughout their stores.

The devices will be utilized for on-the-spot online product ordering on Sears’ website, access to product details and videos, and for showing customers advanced methods of purchasing products. Furthermore, these Apple devices will also aid in training new Sears employees.
