iOS 5 Released to the Public

As promised, iOS 5 has been released to the public today for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Users should first install iTunes 10.5 and OS X 10.7.2 to ensure maximum compatibility, but keep in mind that older devices (iPod Touch 2G/iPhone 3G and earlier) will not be able to run the new mobile OS. Sadly, Siri Voice Assistant will be an iPhone 4S exclusive, so if you want to chat up your handheld, you better upgrade.
