According to the latest report by comScore, Apple’s iPad accounts for a massive 97.2 percent of all tablet Internet traffic in the United States. The device is also leading the iPhone by four percent in iOS traffic, although the number will likely shift the closer to the iPhone’s favor once the 4S lands in customer’s hands. Considering that the remaining 2.8 percent of the marketshare is split into many devices created by all other tablet manufacturers, it’s no surprise that Apple’s competition is sweating.
