Apple Launching Siri Assistant Voice Control for iPhone

Scott Forstall has debuted an impressive new feature for the iPhone 4S known as Siri Assistant voice control. Scott has been essentially “talking” to the iPhone, and it recognizes his speech—including the context of what he is saying—and then completes tasks and commands automatically on the iPhone based on what he said.

This includes planning meetings, sending emails, getting directions, checking the weather, checking stocks, looking up contacts, and creating notes. The voice control feature improves as your iPhone better recognizes your voice, which happens over time, and is excellent for traveling in the car hands free.
