MyGreatFest: First Jailbreak Convention Ever, Tomorrow in UK!

Although many prominent jailbreak developers seem to be gravitating towards Apple, the community of iOS hackers remains strong. Tomorrow, these hackers are prepared to take part in the first ever jailbreak convention, which is being held at The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London. A stateside convention is planned for early 2012.

Among the hackers attending the convention tomorrow are Chronic Dev Team members Joshua Hill and @iOPK, and Cydia founder Jay Freeman (saurik). The event will be streamed live tomorrow but, unfortunately, it can be assured that there won’t be an iPhone 5 jailbreak shown off. (Update: I stand corrected.)

Our mission is to become the largest jailbreak/(i)community convention for coders, themers, hackers, developers or any other mobile device user. To leave others with the better understanding of what jailbreaking actually means to us, and that it does not stand for piracy.
