Google Takeout Now Supports Voice Data

Google Takeout, the data liberation service which allows users to download archives of information stored by Google (photos, contacts, +1s, etc), has been updated with support for Google Voice. You can now download custom greetings that you have created, voicemail and text messages, call recordings, and phone numbers. If you have any data stored on Google’s massive servers, do yourself a favor and download an archive of your important data—losing years of your life due to an intern tripping over a SATA cable is not a risk worth taking. We’re still waiting on Gmail backups, but for now, creating a local mirror of your inbox using and IMAP importing is the simplest option.
