After Months of Issues, Nike+ Will Receive Brand New Platform

Jayme Martin, VP and GM of Nike Running, has sent an email to all users of Nike+ for iPod to apologize for the service’s poor performance over the past few months. Martin acknowledges that it has been “a tough couple of months for Nike+,” because of several issues relating to logging in, syncing devices, sharing runs and editing profiles.

The good news, however, is that the login speed for the service has been reduced and the majority of the reasons for login failures have been fixed. Furthermore, improvements have been made to the ability to sync devices, log runs, and post information to Facebook. A new version of the Nike+ GPS app is also set to be released shortly, which will address several other bugs and issues.
