Developers worldwide have just received an email – seen below – announcing the release of iTunes Match beta. As you can see, Apple has released the iTunes Match beta to their developers for $24.99 per year.
In case nobody remembers, iTunes Match is a service announced at the WWDC that will store all your music in the cloud. The price, previously unannounced, has been confirmed by Apple today to be $24.99/year. Currently, it is only recommended for developers to use this service for testing because Apple will be constantly resetting any music that’s stored on the servers.
If you’re a developer, check the portal for iTunes 10.5 beta 6 now and then read the email below for instructions on how to set up Match.
