Skype has updated their Mac client to add compatibility for Lion and also HD video calling capability. If you have an HD webcam, such as the Logitech C910, then you can use it to chat with your friends in a much more clearer way. You can also use the built-in HD 720p webcam included on newer Macs for HD video. Skype recommends that you have at least a 1.5 Mbps connection to initiate an HD video chat session. If you don’t have an HD webcam, find one over at Skype’s webcam shop.
Skype notes on their blog that there will also be some stability and performance improvements to coincide with the new OS, so hopefully any previous bugs have been destroyed.
