Apple’s Rumored “iTunes Replay” Service is Far From Ready

Last week, the rumor mill was churning about Apple preparing to launch their iTunes Replay service, which would allow for iTunes users to stream movies from Apple’s servers and then re-download them to their iOS devices. Early reports suggested that the service was set to launch in the coming weeks, but a new report by CNET all but rectifies that early speculation. The new report claims that  “Apple has yet to sign cloud agreements for feature films with at least four of the top six film studios,” which would delay the launch of the Cupertino-based company’s streaming movie service, at least until the company is able to obtain the proper streaming licenses from the top film studios like Warner Bros. The wait continues for the so-called “Netflix killer.”
