iCloud’s “Find My iPhone” Service Now Live for Developers

Apple has activated the Find My iPhone and Mac services for developers testing out iCloud. It’s nearly identical to MobileMe’s implementation, with a few user interface improvements. Find My Mac uses WiFi data to pin point the machine to a fairly accurate location, and will be made public with the release of iCloud alongside iOS 5 this Fall. The basic service will be free for up to 5GB worth of data, but users who wish to sync more will have to pony up extra cash.
