Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 Banned From Sale in Australia

Apple’s ongoing patent infringement lawsuit with Samsung in several countries has resulted in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 being pulled from Australian shelves until a successful appeal is made or the lawsuit is resolved. Samsung has agreed to stop advertising its own tablet, one of the iPad’s main competitors, until further notice.

Apple claims that the South Korean handset maker has been copying the look and feel of Apple products such as the iPhone and iPad. In ongoing lawsuits between Apple and Samsung in the U.S., the International Trade Commission has yet to ban any products from being sold.
