AT&T Reducing International Data Prices

New signage found at an AT&T store reveals new prices for international data plans. Currently, data overseas costs a whopping $1.25 per megabyte, with plans ranging from $25 to $200 per month. AT&T’s new plans cut the price significantly, down to $.50 per megabyte for the most basic plan and $.25/mb for the (still ridiculously overpriced) top tier plan. Users who travel abroad frequently will appreciate the change, but a global Verizon iPhone 5 would be a great way to give Apple’s original carrier some much-needed competition.
