When a holiday rolls around, it means we’re usually in store for plenty of deals on App Store titles. This July 4th weekend, which commemorates Independence Day in the United States, is no different. Electronic Arts is celebrating their biggest games sale ever by slashing the prices on over 90 of their App Store titles this weekend. EA has slashed the prices on many of their iPad games that are regularly $9.99, like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Dead Space, Monopoly, and Need for Speed Shift. On sale, these apps are just 99 cents—savings of over 90%.
EA also has many of their iPhone titles on sale such as FIFA 10 by EA Sports, Dead Space, and The Sims 3. Gameloft has followed suit by reducing six of their titles down to 99 cents: N.O.V.A. 2, Starfront – Collision, Dungeon Hunter 2, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Sacred Odyssey – Rise of Ayden, and Shrek Kart.
Activision has Call of Duty: Zombies, Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, and Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts on sale for 50% off or more.
Act fast, as most of these deals end today.
