Apple Releases Official WWDC App

Apple has released an official iPhone and iPad app for the June 6th to 10th WWDC event. The download is free, but only registered WWDC attendees will be able to sign-in. With the app, users can reserve time at labs, view and create event schedules, locate sessions, and view conference news and photos. It’s a huge help for those lucky enough to be attending, but couch-ridden Apple fans will be able to follow our meta-live blog coverage starting at 10am PST on Monday. Expect a huge iOS related announcement, as well as news about Lion and the much-rumored iCloud service.

The WWDC 2011 app is your mobile guide to the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. Access a range of conference information on-the-go from your iPhone or iPad. You can quickly search the conference schedule, make a reservation at the User Interface, App Review, iTunes Connect, Program Support, or Developer Publications lab, view floor diagrams of Moscone West, and create a custom schedule of the sessions, labs, and events you plan on attending.
