All Things D has received a statement from Apple which claims that they are investigating the 3G connectivity issues that many users are experiencing on the new iPad 2. The problem only seems to affect the Verizon iPad 2, and not models from AT&T (and obviously not WiFI-only models). Another build of iOS is expected in the near future, which may include a fix for this issue.
“We are aware that a small number of iPad 2 customers have experienced connectivity issues with the Verizon 3G network and we are investigating it.”
