Apple has released a second build (11A419 to be exact) of the upcoming OS X 10.7 “Lion” for developers to test. This is speculated to be an almost-Gold Master release, or “GM1″, so many of the bugs that plagued the previous version have been dealt with. The official GM will likely be released at WWDC in June, with a public release sometime in the Summer. If you have a developer account and like to live life on the egde, grab a redemption code from the Mac Dev Center and hit the Mac App Store to give Lion a whirl.
Users who are already running 10.7 can update via Software Update. We’ll let you what changes have been made as soon as they are discovered.
